My Spiritual Journey

Early Years – Sensitivity & Connection

Childhood

From a young age, my spiritual awareness was already present. I was aware of an energy world that was unseen in the material realm, yet ever-present, just at the edge of sight, it was comforting in many ways.  I was highly sensitive to people’s energies, thoughts, and intentions, and often found being in groups or around those with impure intentions challenging. Nature and animals were my sanctuary, offering peace, grounding, and a deep sense of belonging.

Awakening & Foundations

1996 – Conscious Spiritual Awakening

After several challenging years, I felt a long-overdue calling to consciously step into my spiritual awakening. At that time, more people were beginning to remember that it is possible to live as spiritual beings while still embodied in 3D reality. This marked the moment I chose to take my first brave steps onto a path I had felt drawn to for much of my life.

This journey began with a Reiki session, which opened a doorway into the energy realm I had been aware of as a child.

1997 – First Spirit Guide & Meditation Practice

Meditation initially began as a way to calm my mind, body, and nervous system. During this time, I was introduced to my first spirit guide. I recognised him instantly, confirming what I had always known as a child, this profound experience reminded me that we are never truly alone, even amid the noise and chaos of the world. Knowing I was supported by benevolent beings in spirit was a great blessing.

1997 – Gift of the First Native American Drum

In 1997, I was gifted my first Native American drum. This opened an entirely new world of unseen energies and ancestral remembrance. Through working with the spirit of the drum, I reconnected with the heartbeat of the Earth, the ancestors, and the old ways. The drum became a powerful healing tool and teacher, opening doorways into the unseen realms and introducing me to people who shared ancient wisdom that should never be forgotten.

Reiki & Energy Healing Path

• 09/2000 – Karuna Reiki Levels 1, 2 & Master

From the year 1999, I spent many years teaching Reiki and holding various regular spiritual workshops alongside my then partner. During that time, I had the privilege of meeting some truly incredible people — deeply spiritual, open-hearted, and beautiful souls. 

One thing that has always stayed clear to me is that we are never only teachers. We are always both teacher and student. We learn from one another constantly, and there is no hierarchy in this work — only shared experience, growth, and remembrance.

My spiritual journey has been shaped by the many profoundly enlightened souls I have met along the way, and it has been — and continues to be — my deepest honour to walk this path alongside others.

Channelling, Sound & Spirit Work

1999 – Channelling & Spirit Guide Sittings

I began channelling and holding sittings for people, connecting with their spirit guides and relaying messages. As part of these sessions, I also drew their spirit guides including symbols and codes.  

After a few years I started channelling Star Beings/Cosmic energies

1999 – Sacred Music & Flute Path

I attended a gathering at a local theatre where Carolyn Hillyer and Nigel Shaw performed. Nigel was birthing his album Bamboo, Cedar, Oak into the world. I felt deeply drawn to Guillermo Martinez flutes (he was playing his flute on this album) contact was made and I purchased a beautiful flute from him.  Some of my Native American flutes were later made by a Cherokee flute maker whom I had the privilege of meeting in America.

Each instrument that has come to me—through gifting or discovery—is honoured as a spiritual being in its own right.

Embodiment, Movement & Earth Connection

2001-2003 – Tai Chi, Yoga & Time with Native Peoples

July 2001 -  travelled to America with my then partner and spent time with Native peoples—an experience defined by deep generosity of spirit, wisdom, and heart-centred teachings and Ceremony that left a lasting imprint on my path.

2003 - I began studying Tai Chi long form and continued practising yoga, supporting embodiment, balance, and energetic flow.

Sound Healing, Light Language & Musical Expansion

2018 – Light Language & Sound Activation

In 2018, my sound healing work was reawakened and expanded through the transmission of light language, new symbols, and energetic coding, expressed through paintings and sound. This marked a profound return to working with frequency, vibration, and the voice as a healing and transformational tool.

2018–Present – Sound Healing Evolution

From this point onward, sound healing became a central pillar of my work. I began consciously weaving together soul voice, light language, drumming, and sacred instruments as a means of transmission, healing, and remembrance.

2024–2025 – Advanced Sound Healing Studies & Song Birthing

During 2024 and 2025, I undertook further dedicated studies in sound healing and sacred song, including:

•  Song and Drum Academy with Larissa Gosla (regular weekly training)

• Sacred Language of the Drum with Christine Stevens (regular weekly training)

• Song of the Soul Workshop with Ayla Schafer

• Tone Temple Academy & Frequency of Light Accredited sound course with Molly Chinner (2025/26 Current)

During this time, new songs began to be birthed, emerging through soul voice, drum, and intuitive sound. These songs carry encoded frequencies intended to support healing, remembrance, and spiritual awakening.

Akashic Records & Expanded Practice

2024 – Akashic Records

Following many years of channelling, connecting with spirit guides, light beings, cosmic energy and sharing messages with people, this path naturally evolved and I began reading people’s Akashic Records working with both individuals and groups.   It has been an honour to access these records and pass on guidance to souls as they navigate their spiritual journeys.

Movement & Dance Journey

Dance has been a vital and living part of my life for many years. In 1998, I began learning Irish dancing with my daughters, and for many years we danced together, immersed in rhythm, energy, and joy. During this time, I also explored Spanish dance and dances from around the world, all of which awakened a deep sense of aliveness, expression, and connection within me.

Later, I was drawn to Ecstatic Dance, which I continue to attend to this day. These spaces feel profoundly freeing — allowing the body to move intuitively, release held energy, and return to a natural state of flow and vitality.

Alongside this, I regularly attend Kirtan sessions, sound baths and singing and dance events, which continue to nourish my connection to sound, movement, community and embodied presence.

This long-standing relationship with movement naturally led me to Sambaddha Somatic Practice, where dance, somatic awareness, and nervous system healing come together in a deeply embodied and transformative way.

2024/2025 – Sambaddha Somatic Practice Training

 I attended Sambaddha Somatic Practice training in 2024 with founder Sara Fakih, and will be continuing with further Sambaddha training in March, where I will complete my certification.

This powerful somatic practice supports nervous system regulation, embodiment, and healing through the wisdom held in the body. Somatic movement has been a deeply personal part of my own healing journey, helping me to release trauma, tension, and stored emotions within the body and nervous system.

Through completing this training, I will be able to support other souls by sharing this powerful somatic practice, offering a safe, grounded space for regulation, reconnection, and embodied healing.

Ongoing Musical & Sound Work

I was classically trained in singing when I was younger. Today, I work with my soul voice, allowing sound to flow intuitively from Grandfather, Great Spirit, the Creator.

I work with:

• Crystal singing bowls

• Crystal harp and other crystal instruments

• Frame drums

• Native American drums (including a 24” dragon drum)

• Bongos

• Native flutes

• Rattles, fans, chimes and other sacred tools

I have begun running drum circles and am currently learning to play guitar—something I have long felt called to do. I have written songs for many years and am now in the process of birthing them into the world.

Over 30 years, I have attended countless circles, ceremonies, gatherings, and courses, Ive listed some of them above—(many before the digital age)—focused on spiritual awakening, self-development, and personal growth. I have also taught and supported many others on their spiritual paths.  

I believe deeply that what we learn must be passed on so others may feel empowered, grow, and in turn help awaken those who are ready.

While I communicate with beings from the cosmos and energies beyond time and space, it is equally vital to remain grounded with Gaia, our Mother Earth. By doing so, we become anchors for the light flowing from the higher realms, assisting Gaia in her transformation. For 

For many years, I have taken my drums, flutes, and sacred instruments to places across the UK, offering prayers and intentions to Gaia, the cosmos, and humanity. 

Everything is frequency. Where our thoughts go, energy flows—and those frequencies ripple outward into Gaia and into the wider cosmos.
