Women's Drum Circles
Sacred Women’s Drum Circles
An ancient practice. A sacred gathering. A place to reconnect.
Do you feel the call of the drum?
There is something deeply powerful about women coming together in sacred circle. Something that reaches beyond words, beyond the busyness of everyday life, and reminds us of the importance of connection, community and simply being together.
For generations, women have gathered in circles, sharing stories, wisdom, song and rhythm. These gatherings have long been a way of connecting with one another, with nature and with the deeper rhythms of life.
Today, in a world where we are so often rushing, giving and meeting the needs of others, creating time and space for ourselves and each other feels more important than ever.
My Sacred Women’s Drum Circles offer an opportunity to step away from everyday demands and become part of something beautiful, meaningful and deeply rooted in ancient tradition.
More Than Just Drumming
These circles are not simply about playing a drum. They are about creating a sacred space where women can gather without judgement, expectations or pressure to be anything other than themselves.
A place where you can feel welcomed, supported and connected. Where you may find friendship, a sense of belonging, moments of stillness, laughter, reflection or simply the joy of being amongst other women.
A space to be seen, to be heard, to be held… or simply to be.
You do not have to speak, share your experiences, sing or even pick up a drum if you don’t wish to. There is no expectation to perform or participate in any particular way.
Your presence is enough.
The Power of the Drum
The drum has been used across cultures for thousands of years in ceremonies, gatherings and spiritual practices.
Its rhythm can help us move away from the constant chatter of the mind and become more present in our bodies, our feelings and the moment.
When we drum together, individual rhythms begin to weave into something shared. There is a wonderful sense of unity that can emerge when women come together with a common intention.
Many people find drumming calming, grounding, uplifting and emotionally freeing. It can offer an opportunity to release tension, reconnect with themselves and experience the simple joy of rhythm.
And sometimes, it is simply wonderful to drum!
What Happens During a Circle?
Each gathering is gently guided, allowing the circle to unfold naturally while honouring a sacred structure.
We begin by creating our sacred space, calling in the directions and taking time to ground ourselves through guided meditation.
There is an opportunity for introductions and sharing, always by invitation rather than expectation.
Together, we set an intention for our first drumming journey, focusing on ourselves and the women gathered in the circle.
As the evening or afternoon unfolds, we may bring in song, further drumming and shared intentions that reach beyond our immediate circle, towards the wider community, the Earth or whatever themes naturally arise.
We finish with time for reflection, grounding and gently closing our sacred space, allowing everyone to return to their day feeling settled and present.
Every circle is unique because every gathering of women brings its own energy, experiences and intentions.

Come Together in Sacred Circle
There is something special about sitting amongst women, knowing that you don’t have to explain yourself, prove anything or meet anyone else’s expectations.
Sometimes we come to share. Sometimes we come to listen. Sometimes we simply need a quiet space where we can be ourselves.
These circles are an invitation to reconnect with that ancient sense of gathering, to honour the wisdom of the drum and to experience the beauty of women coming together.
Come as you are. Follow the rhythm. Find your place in the circle.
